1st Friday of the month our favourite acoustic music night. Singer / songwriters showcasing their own material. Organised by Leaf Promotions.

Cider Circle

Finally, we have a Cider Circle meeting scheduled! It will be on April 21st and feature SiDa, our local producer from Holmes Chapel.

Simon (and maybe Dave) will come along to talk about cider production and we’ll be sampling their ciders and perries. £10 for drinks and some cheese to mop it all up.

Tastings and other events

Our tastings are filling up now and we have the following arranged.

March 17th

Irish beer, stouts and porters. Very appropriate as it’s St Patricks Day.

6 beers, plus soda bread and (homemade) Guinness brownies, £30

April 7th

Presentation of our 6th Cider Pub of the Year award, from 2:00pm. We’ll put some food on as well!

April 21st Cider Circle (see above)

May 26th

American Beers tasting, 2:00pm, 6 US imports plus cheese, £30

20-22nd June (A reminder that it’s the Stockport Beer and Cider Festival )

21st July

Barrel Aged beers tasting. A variety of beer styles – and barrels, together with matching cheeses. 6 beers, £30

Christmas ales tasting – our best seller! Date tbc

Room Hire

The room can also be hired for private functions. There’s a small charge at weekends, but generally, it’s free in the week.
